I remember writing “Wasteland” during this time. I knew if I did not do something to save my life right then and there, I was going to die in that place. No one was coming to save me. No man who toted a gun around and claimed he was hard, or claimed he’d do this or that for me, would actually pull a trigger. Nah, they’d lay up in their houses far away from the chaos, while I fought for my life and wound up in jail for self defense.

A lot of people who tell you they love you and can be counted on when things get crazy are full of shit. It's easy to enlist during a time of peace, isnt it? No one is coming to save you, or me. Take your life into your own hands and look around… look what we’re becoming, and what we’ve become. If you’re okay with or “adjusted” to the current state of affairs, theres something deeply wrong with that.

I watch the golden hearted and pure suffer, and I watch these soulless narcissistic pieces of shit thrive, just as a roach would-they always find a fuckin way. It'll ware you down. It'll put you at risk for becoming the very thing you hate or were so hurt and betrayed by. One has to adapt to the Wasteland; the loveless place, the place where insanity is fact and truth is illegal, where free speech is allowed but we'll wreck your life if we dont like how it sounds, where apathy fucking abounds and for some reason way more people than ive ever remembered seem to be on meth. I mean shit, its not like I dont get it. but people are on some weird shit lately and im not even scratching the surface of what that is or has looked like in my life...yet.
